Well September is known for many different foods, such as fried chicken, great breakfasts, and fine wines.
This month is known for its honey and for potatoes and rice as well as many other great things but it is also child hood obesity awareness month so of course we should try and choose something tasty and healthy in order to promote good eating and health for our families. That’s why we’ve picked out a recipe for you that uses all fresh and healthy ingredients that even the pickiest of eaters would eat that will still provide all the nutrients they need without all the stuff they don’t.
September is national mushroom month here is the USA. Mushrooms are a staple of September and remind many of good times they shared with their families during this beautiful month. So today we are going to show you how to make a recipe with mushrooms that will remind your family and friends that it is indeed September at last. This dish is a Roasted Mushrooms dish that can be served as a side or as a great meal in itself. This recipe can be made by anyone and requires very little time or prep but is very delicious and even a novice could prepare it.
To start you will need two pounds of whole mixed mushrooms, Olive oil, salt and pepper.
Mix the mushrooms with 1 1/2 tablespoons of the olive oil and add salt and pepper to taste in a bowl. Prepare a baking sheet and spread the mushrooms on to it. Then roast them at 425 degrees Fahrenheit and be sure to stir a few times during the process to provide even cooking. Wait 30 minutes until browned. Now take garlic and slice 3 cloves thinly and add 1/2 teaspoon of paprika in butter until it is soft. Mix gently with the mushrooms and add some parsley and salt to finish it off.
